Australians buy Robux in 3 ways: the Roblox website, the Roblox app through the Apple App Store or Google Play Store, and Roblox gift cards. All 3 add Robux to the same account. The 400 Robux pack costs A$7.49 and the 10,000 Robux pack costs A$149.99, and Australian prices include 10% goods and services tax (GST).
Robux prices in Australia
Roblox sells Robux in 6 fixed packs priced in Australian dollars (AUD).
| Pack | Price (AUD) | Cost per 1,000 Robux |
|---|---|---|
| 80 Robux | A$1.49 | A$18.63 |
| 400 Robux | A$7.49 | A$18.73 |
| 800 Robux | A$14.99 | A$18.74 |
| 1,700 Robux | A$29.99 | A$17.64 |
| 4,500 Robux | A$74.99 | A$16.66 |
| 10,000 Robux | A$149.99 | A$15.00 |
The 10,000 Robux pack gives the best value at A$15.00 per 1,000 Robux, about 20% less per Robux than the 400 Robux pack. The Robux to AUD calculator prices any amount at its pack rate.
1. Buy on the Roblox website
The Roblox website shows every pack side by side and charges a credit or debit card. Steps:
- Sign in at roblox.com and open the Robux page.
- Pick a pack and choose a payment method.
- Confirm the price in AUD and pay. The Robux arrive in the account straight away.
2. Buy in the Roblox app
Buying inside the Roblox app charges the Apple Account on an iPhone or iPad, or the Google account on Android. It suits families that already use Apple Family Sharing “Ask to Buy” or Google Play purchase approval. Check the price shown in the app, because Apple and Google set their own prices, which can differ from the website.
3. Buy a Roblox gift card
Roblox gift cards are sold in Australian supermarkets, game stores and online in fixed values such as A$20, A$40 and A$100. They suit a fixed budget, or a child’s account with no card attached.
- Redeem gift cards only on the official Roblox redeem page at roblox.com/redeem.
- Keep the receipt until the card is redeemed.
- Never share a gift card code with anyone who asks for it in a game or a chat.
An Australian gift card adds AUD credit to the account, which then buys Robux at the Australian price. A Google Play or Apple gift card adds store credit instead, which buys Robux at the app store price.
Roblox Premium: monthly Robux plus 10% extra
Roblox Premium is a monthly subscription that adds a set amount of Robux each month and gives 10% more Robux on every Robux purchase. A 1,000 Robux purchase gives a Premium member 1,100 Robux. Premium also unlocks trading and selling some avatar items. It pays off for players who buy Robux every month; for a one-off top-up, a pack is simpler.
How to compare prices in AUD
- Note the number of Robux in each option.
- Divide the AUD price by the number of Robux to get the cost per Robux.
- Pick the lowest cost per Robux for the amount you actually need.
A 1,700 Robux pack at A$29.99 costs A$0.0176 per Robux, while 2 × 800 Robux packs cost A$29.98 for 1,600 Robux, A$0.0187 per Robux.
Safety and spending limits for parents
- “Free Robux” sites are scams. Roblox does not give away Robux through generators, surveys or third-party websites.
- Set a monthly spending limit. A parent account linked to the child’s account can set a limit under Settings → Parental Controls → Spending restrictions. The limit does not cover gift card redemptions and may not apply on some consoles.
- Turn on app store approval. Apple “Ask to Buy” and Google Play purchase approval stop in-app purchases until a parent agrees.
- Protect accounts. Children should never share passwords or one-time codes.
Buying Robux vs earning Robux
Bought Robux can be spent but never cashed out. Only Robux earned as a creator can turn into money through the Roblox Developer Exchange (DevEx), at about 30% of the buying price. Read Robux buying price vs DevEx value for the full comparison.
